MetaTrader Brokers with which ForexInnovation GmbH co-operates

Expert-Advisor and Trading-Tools with special pricing for these Brokers

In our shop we have different products, as for example the One-Click-Trader or the Magic-Champ II, which you can buy at a discounted price or even for free as an “IB - version“.

Also our newest MetaTrader strategy FI-X is available at a significant discount in combination of an IB - account. More information on FI-X and the rebate in connection with an IB – contract can be found under FI-X

In co-operation with the following brokers ForexInnovation is able to offer you discounts for different EAs and tools:

Alpari: The mini and the standard accounts are both without commissions and have a good spread for the major currency pairs. The PRO-account is charged with commissions but offers excellent spreads. We offer IB – conditions for all account variants without any negative effects on the spreads or commissions for you!

ATC-Brokers: Newly adopted in our broker choice.

EXNESS: Similar to Pepperstone this is a MetaTrader broker with very tight spreads. EXNESS is based in New Zealand, which is well suited for potential money portfolio diversification.

FinFX: Newly adopted in our broker choice.

FXSalt: ECN broker (with commissions) and recently also a STP broker (apparently w/o commissions) with very good data feed and excellent spreads. The trading with a IB – contract does not have any impact on the trading conditions! Did you know the FXSalt is itself IB for another broker...

Pepperstone: The broker Pepperstone is relatively new in the MetaTrader business, but up until now the performance has been impressing, as well as the very tight spreads as good customer support. You can choose between two account types at Pepperstone. The standard account is without commissions and thus has a spread mark-up, the ECN (RAZOR) account delivers you pure intermarket spreads and charges commission of 7 AUD$/Lot. You can find some more information concerning spreads on our pages: Spread Analysis of Broker Datafeeds.

By the way, Pepperstone is located in Australia and is regulated by the ASIC. Since the funds are deposited in trusts with the National Australia Bank, the broker is well suited for diversification of you trading funds.

Hotforex: Due to the relatively frequent requests for this broker in connection with our MetaTrader-Tools and Expert-Advisors we decided to add Hotforex to our IB – program. A detailed analysis of the datafeed for a demo – account can be found under MetaTrader Demo-Data Feeds. The feedback so far from some of our customers for this broker are in general positive.

Thinkforex: Newly adopted in our broker choice.

vPE-Bank: STP broker with a very good data feed and tight spreads. The costs are in the typical price area of 10$ commissions per $Lot traded. The trading with an IB – contract does not have any adverse effects on the trading conditions, i.e. the spread and commissions remain unchanged!

MIG: The MIG bank unfortunately does not really offer competitive spreads for the MINI accounts. Only beginning with an ADVANCED account offer good spreads – for this reason as well as the advantages of a broker with a banking license as well as the location in Switzerland we chose to find a special agreement with MIG which offers improved conditions for you, the customer: When you choose to open an account with a minimum deposit of 10,000€ you would normally receive the conditions for a MINI account. Through us as IB you will be upgraded to a CLASSIC account. For deposits between 10,000€ and 50,000€ (normally a CLASSIC account) you will be promoted to an ADVANCED account! Also through this upgrade you will receive improved spreads. However there will also be charged 3.6€/$/CHf commissions per lot. If you are interested in PRIME conditions please contact us directly in order to check if this is possible based on the initial deposit and trading activities.

ActivTrades: A broker with different account types, similar to Alpari. But the spreads are not as good and competitive in comparison to the other mentioned brokers. On the other hand the broker offers to trade the DAX and other indices and CFDS and we have many customers trading there with the One-Click-Trader only for DAX - scalping. For all account types we offer IB – contracts without affecting the trading conditions. By the way, a renown German introducer for ActivTrades is QTrade!

Since not every trader is aware of what „IB contract“ means and as we receive questions tot he topic frequently, following some basic information.

The abbreviation IB stands for the English terms "Introducing Broker".

Often instead of broker the term „agent“ is used. So in principle we are talking about the introduction of new customers to the broker.

The broker in return, for bringing him customers, agrees to pay the introducer a premium or commission per customer. With all IB agreements which ForexInnovation has with the different brokers these premiums are paid in relation to the trading activities of the customer on his account.

ForexInnovation DOES NOT receive initial / single payments for referring a customer, but only payments in relation to the trading activity!

What do customers need to be aware of?

There are two possible ways to generate premiums for the introducer:

Case A: The broker share part of his revenues with the introducer (e.g. ForexInnovation), without changing the trading conditions for the customer, i.e. no adverse conditions.

Usually the broker earns money by increasing the core spread or by charging commissions. In case A the broker pays out part of his revenue to the introducer without further increasing the spread or charging even more commissions! For you as the customer this means that the IB – contract is totally neutral. You have no disadvantage in case A in terms of trading conditions / costs(!) and you will not even notice and have any difference to a non – IB account.

Case B: The customer is charged an additional fee on top of the standard broker fees!

There are unfortunately many IB contracts available through which the trader will pay the introducer an additional amount directly and thus having negative trading conditions in relation to a non – IB account. These “payments” are usually done through an additional spread increase which is often difficult to spot, or by charging additional commissions. As mentioned, especially the spread increase is a often seen practice, and often the introducer does not even inform the trader about this! Of course these kind of introducer agreements are very rewarding for the introducer since the additional spread increase usually goes to 100% to the introducer.

So how do you tell the difference between a real broker and an introducing broker?

Unfortunately this is usually not easy to find out, sometimes almost not possible. There are so many introducing brokers available in the MetaTrader business who act as if they were real brokers. They advertise and attract customers in a big style without letting the customer know that they are just the „middle man“. These introducing brokers do not have their own MetaTrader – server and no direct connection to the Forex liquidity pool of the interbank market as e.g. MAREX. All they usually offer is an own glossy website and logos. Of course this does not necessarily have to be negative for the customer, however often the transparency is lost or not available for the customer to understand who he is doing business with and what the conditions are.

Which introducer variants does ForexInnovation GmbH offer its customers?

In general ForexInnovation is committed to offer its customers the best possible trading conditions! We principally disagree to offer trading conditions which are below the conditions which the customer would receive when dealing directly with the broker.

Due to this we have only contracts with brokers with which the customers will be treated neutrally, i.e. not having any disadvantages. Neither the spreads are increased to the introduced customer nor additional commission is charged.

All IB – contracts we offer are therefore according to above mentioned case A. So you do not loose anything with the contract, but only win by saving money for our indicated IB – products as e.g. the One-Click-Trader which you receive free of charge, or the Magic-Champ II at a discount price.

An exception from these IB – contracts is the MIG – bank, more information to it in the following.

ForexInnovation GmbH as introducer receives rebates between 0.5USD to 3USD per USD-Lot Roundturn the according partner brokers. These specific rebates which ForexInnovation receives as IB for a specific broker can be inquired directly via email. With the exception of the MIG – bank all other IB – contracts are neutral in terms of costs and trading conditions for the introduced customer. For the MIG – bank the introducer is HPM as the BaFin – regulated legal entity of ForexInnovation. The customer will receive a better account category through the introducer agreement. Through this he will receive better spreads than the standard customer who is a direct customer of the MIG – bank. In return for the advanced conditions the customer will be charged an additional commission of 3€/Lot Roundturn for a €-account.

Why is the introducer contract for the MIG – bank done through the HPM?

For certain products which you can purchase through us you will need to sign an agreement with our regulated legal entity, the HPM. The reason for this is due to the location of the MIG – bank in Switzerland and thus not being part of the European Union. The German Regulation body – the BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) requires for those brokers that the introducer agreement is done through the legal entity.

Such a legal entity, which is regulated through the BaFin in Germany according to KWG32 (Kreditwesengesetz) is authorized to receive commissions and premiums coming from financial transactions (i.e. payments from the broker).

An introducer who does not have the possibility to be regulated through the BaFin and the regulation of KWG32 must accordingly channel its transactions through the legal regulated entity. Since 05/01/2011 ForexInnovation is listed as introducer under the legal entity of the Hanseatisches Portfoliomanagement GmbH (HPM) and thus is listed at the BaFin as such!
