As most developers, we have also developed systems, which looked great in the backtest, but which totally failed in live trading. Keyword Curve-Fitting... If you let run the optimizer long enough, every bad trading strategy in the backtest will be calculated profitable. Therefore, a track record on a real account should be finally decisive for the purchase of a trading system! Independent from the chosen Expert Advisor for MetaTrader you buy in the Internet, never let yourself be deceived by any fantastic backtests!

Therefore we have established several real money live accounts for all our trading systems. You can track the performance any time through dedicated accounts at myfxbook.

As stated in the manual of the Magic-Champ II and furthermore detailed on our website on backtesting and livetrading, the generated signals from the EA are highly dependent on many different factors. Even though the trading logic is identical on all below stated accounts you will see how different the development of the accounts can be. Already these accounts clearly show deviations to each other. However you should consider that different Money-Management variants are applied and thus have influence on the results. A more thorough explanation on the deviations with some examples can be found under signal generation.

Depending on your broker you trade with, the spread you get and the prices you receive at any given time have direct impact on how the signals are generated. Subsequent you will potentially have similar, better or worse results as the below stated live accounts.

On this account (since 2011/12/10) the Fixed-Fractional Money-Management is currently activated with 3% risk for long / short. The Adaptive-Money-Management is deactivated for this account. BreakAfterSL is set to 20min.

On this account (since 2011/12/10) the ReInvest-Money-Management is currently activated. basicRisk_L and basicRisk_S each with 400€ // reinvest_PcL and reinvest_PcS each 10% // maxRisk_PcL and maxRisk_PcS each 5%. BreakAfterSL is set to 20min.

After 2 years of profitable trading we have taken the experience out of 1,500 trades and integrated it into a major update. Due to this update we have started two new MetaTrader real money accounts to show the performance of the updated version of MC-II. On one account only the BASIC - version is traded, on the second exclusively the PRO - version. The performance of these accounts can be followed on the following myfxbook - accounts.
