Training: Approaches to the Design and Making of Indicators

This training is specifically focused on the programming of indicators. Even though you may have already programmed simple trading systems, the structure and design of indicators is fundamentally different, and special training is highly recommended.

It is assumed that you already have some experience in the programming language MQL and/or C/C#/C++. Also, a similar language such as Java is a sound basis for programming in MQL. Without any knowledge of structured programming, however, this training is not feasible.

Training Objective: You will create your own indicators and change and adapt existing indicators.

Training contents:

• What is the difference between an indicator and an Expert Advisor?

• What are the advantages/disadvantages of indicators and why they are used at all?

• How is a indicator made, what parameters may be used.

• What limitations are there to the programming and use of indicators in MetaTrader?

• How do I customize indicators to my ideas and needs?

• How do I integrate my programmed indicators into the MetaTrader - platform and/or my Expert Advisor

The above mentioned points are only a small guideline for the training. According to your level of knowledge and your individual learning target we create our trainings very individually to respond better to the particular participant.
