Unfortunately the decompilation of Experts Advisors is constantly increasing. Numerous trading systems, which you can buy in the Internet, are offered in various forms and on dubious websites for download. The ex4 file of the EA was decoded and the pure source code in form of the Meta-Trader MQ4-file is accessible to everyone and can be extended and modified optionally.
This is normally very annoying for everybody, who purchased the system legally, but especially for the designer of the trading system. The customers get angry, because they paid a lot of money for a trading system, which you can download in other areas free of charge. The programmer gets annoyed over the theft of his intellectual property and the related financial loss.
If you (as a strategy or system developer for trading systems or indicators on the basis of the MetaTrader platform) have an Expert-Advisor, an indicator or a script, which you want to protect, we can support you. We protect our EAs by corresponding DLLs and encoding algorithms.
Similar to the programming of a trading system the expense depends on the complexity of the EA and the logics to be encoded. For the protection of the expert advisor the decisive trading routines are outsourced, so that only a minimum rest remains in the MetaTrader source file in Form of MQL4/MQL5 Code. If needed, the request and the verification of an existing and valid license are effected from the DLL, so that the EA may only trade on licensed unlocked accounts.

*ATTENTION Even the best encoding of your trading strategy in a C or C++ DLL gives no guaranteed 100% protection of your knowledge. The expense for decompiling and reset of the arising assembler machine codes can be made complicated by corresponding encoding methods and increase into the infinite, but you cannot exclude a successful retranslation one hundred percent. Certain core logics of the Magic-Champ II EA are secured for example by a 128-Bit encoding. By complex brute force methods a partial decoding can be achieved. The question is how long this procedure lasts ... months ... years ...
